Who are we? Clare Maddicott Publications was acquired by Abacus Cards Ltd in May 2008 from founding owners Clare & Richard Maddicott, who established the company in 1993. The company had built a reputation for vibrant, colourful, quality cards, based, in the early days on artwork created solely by Clare Maddicott. Latterly other artists were commissioned, including Linda Edwards; who still is a major contributor of material today. Since the purchase the company has gone from strength to strength and has expanded its portfolio of contributing artists to offer a wider selection of greeting cards
What do we do? We are an art led publisher of greeting cards & associated products providing strong and individual ranges of everyday & seasonal cards, notebooks, social stationery and gift wrap, using top quality designs by leading contemporary artists.
How to order? As well as being able to order on-line we can also take your order by phone; or alternatively if you prefer to place your order in person, we can arrange a visit by one of our sales agents.
On-line All Clare Maddicott account holders once registered on the trade section of this website can select and compile orders on-line. Within minutes of submitting an order a confirmation email is sent back to the customer detailing the items ordered. There is no need for payment on-line as all orders are invoiced and processed in the normal way.

In person If you would prefer to place your order in person, we have a team of dedicated sales agents who are available to call on customers regularly throughout the year. As well as advising you on best sellers and keeping you up to date on new inductions, your sales agent can also assist with merchandising and implement a simple stock control re-order system.
